Provincial Fatherland Front leaders congratulate religious establishments
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of December 23, a working delegation of the People's Committee and the Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province led by Mr. Nguyen Van Huy, Chairman of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province, visited and congratulated religious establishments in the Xa Doai diocese on the occasion of Christmas. Also present were representatives of the Provincial People's Committee Office and the Religious Affairs Committee (Department of Home Affairs).

At the Vinh Diocese Bishop's Palace, Xa Doai Cathedral, Vinh Thanh Seminary and Vinh Thanh Congregation, the delegation sent wishes for a peaceful Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2014 to all dignitaries, priests and parishioners, and acknowledged the contributions that religious establishments in the area have made in the past. The delegation also expressed the hope that religious establishments would continue to promote national solidarity for the common development of the province.
Catholic dignitaries, priests and nuns expressed their gratitude to the provincial leaders for their attention to religious activities of religious establishments in the past time; affirmed that they will continue to make more efforts so that Catholic followers can live a good life, strengthen solidarity between religions, and work with local authorities to develop the economy and society.
