Economic leaders from Russia, the United States and China arrived in Da Nang today to prepare for the 25th APEC Economic Leaders’ Meeting. Da Nang will also welcome delegations from Canada, Indonesia, South Korea, Singapore, Thailand, Cambodia and Laos. Several bilateral meetings between economic leaders are scheduled to take place this morning.

The official welcoming ceremony for economic leaders and their spouses, along with a banquet and art performance to celebrate the 25th APEC Economic Leaders' Meeting, will take place the same evening. President Tran Dai Quang and his wife will preside over the event.

The APEC CEO Summit, one of the key events during the APEC high-level week, entered its final day today with six sessions. Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe, US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping will speak at the CEO Summit.

President Tran Dai Quang today attended and delivered a speech at the plenary session of the APEC Business Advisory Council (ABAC) Dialogue with APEC economic leaders, chairing the Informal High-Level Dialogue between APEC and ASEAN.
