Hoang Mai Town leaders visit the injured sailors

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of September 3, Hoang Mai town organized a delegation to visit and give gifts to sailors whose boat sank in Quynh Lap commune.

At around 5:30 a.m. on September 2, the fishing boat NA 93486 TS with a capacity of 320CV of Mr. Nguyen Van Hai in Dong Tien village, Quynh Lap commune, Hoang Mai town was fishing 4 nautical miles from Bach Long Vi island when suddenly a strong whirlwind hit. After only 1 hour, the entire boat sank with total damage of over 1 billion VND. Fortunately, the 15 crew members on board promptly put on life jackets and jumped off and were rescued by the fishing boat of Mr. Truong Quang Dai in Quyet Tam village, Quynh Lap commune. By the morning of September 3, all crew members were brought home safely.

Immediately afterwards, the leaders of Hoang Mai town promptly visited the health of the crew members, and supported 2 million VND to share the loss and hope that the crew members will soon overcome difficulties to continue to develop the economy, contributing to protecting the homeland's sea and islands.
