(Baonghean.vn) -On the occasion of the 54th Anniversary of Border Guard Tradition Day and National Defense Day (March 3, 1959 - 2013), this afternoon, March 1, comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and congratulated the Provincial Border Guard Command.
On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Duc Phoc presented a beautiful flower basket, acknowledging and thanking the Border Guard force for its positive contributions to the province's development; especially in mass mobilization, search and rescue, prevention and overcoming the consequences of natural disasters, helping people in border areas eliminate hunger, reduce poverty, develop production, stabilize life, build new rural areas, etc. He wished the Provincial Border Guard to grow stronger, raise vigilance, be ready to fight in all situations, successfully complete all assigned tasks; actively support local Party committees and authorities in building and stabilizing the political system, developing the local economy and society, contributing to consolidating the people's border defense posture, building and firmly protecting national border security and sovereignty in the new situation.
