Provincial leaders congratulate the Provincial Border Guard on the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army

(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, December 19, the delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee led by comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee visited and congratulated officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard on the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army (December 22, 1944 - December 22, 2012) and the 23rd anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22, 1989 - December 22, 2012).

Also attending were comrades in the Provincial Party Standing Committee: Thai Van Hang - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; To Hong Hai - Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department and representatives of leaders of departments, branches and sectors of Nghe An province.





Comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Secretary of Nghe An Provincial Party Committee presented flowers to congratulate the Provincial Border Guard.

Colonel Dinh Ngoc Van - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Commander of the Provincial Border Guard Command reported to the Delegation some achievements of the Provincial Border Guard in 2012. Notable among them were the work of firmly protecting territorial sovereignty, border security, and sea areas; effectively fighting against all types of crimes; properly implementing the project plan to increase the density and embellishment of Vietnam - Laos border markers; actively participating in the local socio-economic development. With these achievements, Nghe An Border Guard was awarded the Excellent Emulation Flag by the Prime Minister.

He also thanked the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial People's Committee, and provincial departments for their regular attention and direction, and promised to promote the achieved results and strive to excellently complete all assigned tasks, worthy of the trust and love of the cadres, soldiers, and people of the province.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province, comrade Phan Dinh Trac warmly commended the achievements of the Border Guard officers and soldiers, and at the same time requested the Border Guard force to closely coordinate with local forces and authorities to ensure social order, border and sea security, contributing to socio-economic development in the area.
