Provincial leaders congratulate the Golden Jubilee of Priest Vo Thanh Tam - Administrator of Doai Commune
(Baonghean.vn) -This afternoon, April 24, comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee came to congratulate the Golden Jubilee (50th anniversary of priestly ordination) of Father Francis Xavier Vo Thanh Tam - Administrator of Doai commune. Accompanying him were comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee, representatives of the Fatherland Front Committee, Provincial Police, Provincial People's Committee Office, Religious Affairs Committee - Department of Home Affairs.
Father Vo Thanh Tam is 82 years old this year. He was ordained a priest in 1963. During his 50 years as a priest, he was assigned by the church to hold many important positions, including more than 23 years as a parish priest and dean.

On behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, Comrade Thai Van Hang presented flowers to congratulate Father Vo Thanh Tam, thanking him for his contributions during his 70 years of association with his homeland Nghe An, and now in his role as the Ward Chief of Xa Doai, he has led and encouraged parishioners to make efforts, unite, join forces, and build a life of "Good life, good religion", contributing to the development of the local socio-economy.
