Provincial leaders congratulate Border Guard Traditional Day
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of March 3, on the occasion of the 58th anniversary of the Border Guard's Traditional Day (March 3, 1959 - March 3, 2017), the 28th anniversary of the People's Border Guard Day (March 3, 1989 - March 3, 2017), the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province led by comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation came to congratulate the Provincial Border Guard Command.

On behalf of the delegation, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Dac Vinh congratulated, acknowledged and thanked the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Border Guard for their excellent performance in the past year, achieving many outstanding achievements, contributing to the socio-economic development and ensuring national defense and security of the province.

On this occasion, the Provincial Party Secretary hoped that the Provincial Border Guard force would continue to promote the achieved results in firmly protecting the sovereignty and security of the border on land and sea routes; grasp the situation, and carry out well the work of mobilizing the masses to contribute to building a strong political system.
On behalf of the Provincial Border Guard force, Colonel Nguyen Van Tuy - Political Commissar of the Provincial Border Guard Command thanked the provincial leaders and sectors for their attention, encouragement and sharing with the force in both material and spiritual terms to excellently complete the assigned tasks.

Colonel Nguyen Van Tuy also affirmed that in 2017, the provincial Border Guard force will continue to unite, bond, join hands, and be determined to firmly protect national sovereignty and border security, ensure social order and safety in border areas; participate in building a strong grassroots political system, fight against crime, develop the economy, reduce poverty for the people; and effectively carry out search and rescue activities.
