(Baonghean.vn) -Celebrating Christmas 2012, this afternoon (December 21), comrade Le Xuan Dai - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee came to present flowers, gifts and congratulate the Vinh Diocese Bishop's Palace; Vinh - Thanh Major Seminary; Xa Doai Lovers of the Holy Cross Congregation; Xa Doai Deanery; Bishop of Vinh Diocese Nguyen Thai Hop and Father Vo Thanh Tam - Xa Doai Deanery. Accompanying were leaders of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee; Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; Provincial Religious Affairs Committee.

Presenting flowers and congratulating the Vinh Diocese and Bishop Nguyen Thai Hop, on behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Le Xuan Dai informed about some socio-economic, national defense and security situations of the province in 2012. Despite the general difficult conditions of the world and the country, the province still continued to create many positive changes in the fields of socio-economics, national defense and security; people's lives were improved; national defense and security were maintained. Achieving these results is the great effort of all levels, sectors, business community and people of all walks of life in the province, including the contribution of Catholic compatriots.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Vinh Diocese in general and Bishop Nguyen Thai Hop in his position will continue to lead and encourage the Catholic people to make more efforts, join forces with the government and all classes of people in the ethnic communities in the province to unite and strive to better fulfill the tasks of 2013, for the common goal of developing Nghe An, and Catholic people striving to build a life of "Good life, good religion". On behalf of the Vinh Diocese, Bishop Nguyen Thai Hop thanked the provincial leaders for their attention and expressed his joy at the achievements the province had made in 2012; in the development of the country, Nghe An, the parishioners have also fully enjoyed those achievements. Bishop Nguyen Thai Hop also hoped that provincial leaders at all levels in the coming time would continue to pay more attention to training and job creation for children right in their homeland in order to exploit the potentials and advantages of the province to develop Nghe An more strongly.
