Provincial leaders extend New Year greetings to the Party committees of the Provincial Party Committee.

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the Lunar New Year 2017 (Year of the Rooster), on the morning of January 25th, the Provincial Party Committee Office organized a meeting titled "Celebrating the Party - Celebrating Spring," extending New Year greetings to cadres, civil servants, and employees of the Provincial Party Committee's departments.

Comrades Nguyen Dac Vinh - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Nguyen Xuan Son - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council; Nguyen Van Thong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Thai Thanh Quy - Alternate Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Chief of the Provincial Party Committee Office, along with other members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, attended the meeting.

Speaking at the meeting, Provincial Party Secretary Nguyen Dac Vinh stated: In 2016, under the leadership of the Party and with the unanimous support of the entire population and armed forces, our province overcame many difficulties and challenges, achieving many important accomplishments in various fields, with the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) increasing by 7.5% compared to the same period.

The economic structure is shifting in the right direction. The average GRDP per capita (calculated using the new method) in 2016 is estimated at 28.54 million VND (compared to 26.15 million VND in 2015). Total state budget revenue in 2016 reached over 11,000 billion VND, the highest ever.

Of the 27 key targets set by the Provincial People's Council for 2016, 25 were completed exceeding or meeting the plan.

Nghe An is one of the leading localities nationwide in the number of communes meeting the standards of new rural areas. The socio-cultural sector has seen many positive changes, national defense and security are ensured, and poverty alleviation efforts are being prioritized.

On behalf of the provincial leadership, the Provincial Party Secretary warmly commended the achievements of the cadres, civil servants, and employees of the Party committees of the Provincial Party Committee in advising and serving the leadership and direction, proactively building and organizing the implementation of the work program of the Standing Committee, the Executive Committee, and the Provincial Party Committee, and organizing the dissemination and development of action programs to implement resolutions at all levels.

Despite the heavy workload, high pressure, and demanding requirements, the officials and staff of the Provincial Party Committee have basically completed their assigned tasks well, contributing to the effective resolution of work according to the set program.

Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh emphasized that in 2017, despite many noteworthy achievements, the results did not meet expectations, and the lives of people in many localities in the province still faced many difficulties. We need to frankly acknowledge the objective and subjective causes. This places new demands on the leadership of the Standing Committee and the Provincial Party Committee.

Cadres, civil servants, and employees of Party committees must continue to uphold traditions and experience; innovate thinking and the character of cadres in Party agencies; strengthen discipline, order, and internal unity to further improve the quality and efficiency of assigned work. At the same time, they need to further improve the quality of advisory and support work to effectively implement the 2017 work program.

The Provincial Party Secretary requested that, in the spirit of internal unity and concerted effort, the Party committees should coordinate strongly in implementing, inspecting, and supervising the Party's resolutions in practice; creating momentum to achieve the goals set forth in the Provincial Party Congress Resolution and Resolution 26 of the Politburo by 2020.

On the occasion of the traditional Lunar New Year, Comrade Nguyen Dac Vinh wished all cadres, civil servants, employees, and workers of the Party Committees of the Provincial Party Committee and their families abundant health, happiness, success, and even more outstanding achievements in the new year 2017.
