Commemorating the 66th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day (July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2013), on the morning of July 27, a delegation of officials from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Fatherland Front Committee of the province, together with representatives of departments, branches, and armed forces of the province, led by Comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, organized a flower offering ceremony to commemorate the heroic martyrs resting at the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Cemetery (Anh Son district) and the Youth Volunteers who sacrificed their lives at Truong Bon Historical Site.

Offering incense at the graves of martyrs
The Vietnam-Laos International Martyrs' Cemetery currently has 11,000 martyrs resting in peace, of which only 4,000 have their names and hometowns identified. Over the years, the Cemetery Management Board has coordinated with local organizations and authorities to take good care of the martyrs' graves, creating favorable conditions for relatives and people from all over to visit, offer flowers and incense to commemorate the heroic martyrs. On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Tran Hong Chau presented gifts, recognizing the efforts of the Vietnam-Laos Friendship Cemetery Management Board.
Previously, comrade Tran Hong Chau and the delegation offered flowers and incense to commemorate the sacrificed Youth Volunteers at Truong Bon Historical Site (My Son Commune, Do Luong District).
