Provincial leaders offer incense to commemorate Uncle Ho in Ba Vi (Hanoi)

(Baonghean) -On the occasion of the 68th anniversary of the successful August Revolution, National Day September 2 and 44 years of implementing Uncle Ho's Testament, on the morning of August 25, a delegation of provincial officials led by comrade Nguyen Xuan Son - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Council offered incense and commemorated Uncle Ho at the Uncle Ho Temple on Ba Vi Mountain, Hanoi.

Offering incense, the delegation expressed their infinite gratitude to the immense merits of Uncle Ho - the genius leader of our Party and people - an outstanding activist of the international communist and workers' movement - who devoted and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation, class liberation, fighting for peace, national independence and people's happiness. Following Uncle Ho's words, over the years, the Party Committee and people of Nghe An have united, overcome difficulties, been proactive and creative, expanded production, developed the economy and society, maintained political security, social order and safety, and gradually built Nghe An into a prosperous province as Uncle Ho always wished.

The delegation offered incense and visited the K9 historical site in Ba Vi district. This is where, in 1957, Uncle Ho foresaw the possibility of the US's crazy attacks on the North and chose K9 to build a base for him and the Politburo to work and decide on a number of important issues regarding the resistance war against the US to save the country and build socialism in the North. This is also the place where, during the 6 years of the war against the US to save the country (1969 to 1975), Uncle Ho's body was kept and preserved.
