Provincial leaders work with Quynh Luu Forestry One Member Co., Ltd.

(Baonghean) -On the morning of August 12, a working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee led by Mr. Dinh Viet Hong - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee had a working session at Quynh Luu Forestry One Member Co., Ltd.

Quynh Luu Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. currently manages nearly 1,600 hectares of forest and forest land, including 716 hectares of pine resin forest exploited annually, with 256 staff and workers. In the first 6 months of 2013, the Company exploited 174 tons of pine resin with a revenue of nearly 3 billion VND, contributing nearly 50 million VND to the state budget. The Company has done a good job in preventing forest pests and diseases, especially caterpillars; linking exploitation with protection and regeneration of forest resources. The work of fire prevention and control has always been well implemented by the company's leadership and workers with specific plans, organizing shifts, and arranging 24/7 fire watchtowers. Thanks to that, since the beginning of the year, there have been no forest fires in the area managed by the Company.

Speaking at the meeting, comrade Dinh Viet Hong highly appreciated the results achieved by Quynh Luu Forestry One Member Co., Ltd. in the past time. He noted that in the coming time, the Company needs to pay more attention to ensuring the lives and policies for workers; coordinate with local authorities to completely resolve the situation of encroachment and setting up boundary markers to do a good job of forest management and protection. The exploitation of pine resin needs to be closely combined with the protection of forest resources to ensure growth and prolong the life of trees...

After the working session, the working delegation of the Provincial People's Committee inspected the pine forest area in lots 16, 17, 18 in plot 2, sub-area 344B, Quynh Xuan commune managed by the Company.
