At VTV, comrade Tran Binh Minh - Member of the Party Central Committee, General Director of VTV discussed and agreed with the provincial leaders on continuing to coordinate in propaganda work, promoting Nghe An's image on VTV channels in a diverse and in-depth manner. VTV will support Nghe An Radio and Television Station in training staff, orienting the development of modern technology. In the immediate future, it is agreed that the Vietnam Cable Television Center will put Nghe An NTV channel into the VCTV cable television system to increase the promotion coverage nationwide. By 2015, VTV will conduct digital broadcasting of VTV channels in all major provinces and cities, including Nghe An, and agree that Nghe An Radio and Television Station will share the digital infrastructure with VTV in transmission and broadcasting.

In order for the radio waves of VOV and Nghe An Radio and Television to reach more people in Nghe An, especially those in remote and isolated areas, the General Director of VTV agreed with the proposals and recommendations of the province, continuing to study the coverage area in the area to have a plan to invest in a number of key projects to expand the coverage area of ​​Western Nghe An. The leaders of VTV and Nghe An Province will jointly propose to the Government to have a program and project to support radio receivers for poor households in remote and isolated areas to bring information and policies of the Party, State and the province to the people better.

Also at the meeting, the leaders of the two national stations agreed on the policy of the Province proposing to the Government and the Politburo to allow investment in the construction of Nghe An Radio and Television Station to act as a regional Radio and Television Station to meet the requirements of propaganda work in Nghe An Province in accordance with the orientation of building Nghe An into a central province in terms of Economy and Culture of the North Central region as in the spirit of Resolution 20- of the Politburo.
