Provincial leaders work with the delegation of the Korean Embassy

(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of May 9, the Provincial People's Committee had a working session with the delegation of the Korean Embassy in Hanoi and Korean enterprises led by Mr. Ha Chan Ho. Attending the meeting were comrades: Ho Duc Phoc - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Xuan Duong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, representatives of provincial departments, branches and sectors.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, comrade Ho Duc Phoc expressed his joy at welcoming the Ambassador and the delegation to Nghe An and introduced the natural, socio-economic characteristics, potential advantages as well as preferential policies and mechanisms in attracting investment and the needs of Nghe An.

Up to now, in the province, there are 8 valid investment projects with registered capital of 64.85 million USD, employing over 10,000 local workers invested by Korean enterprises such as: 4 projects in the field of textile and garment export; investment project to build Hitech BSE Vietnam electronic and telecommunications equipment and components factory established by BSE Vietnam Electronics Company in Nam Cam Industrial Park; banana planting and export project with a scale of 200 hectares in Vien Thanh commune, Yen Thanh district; entertainment service project on Cua Lo beach.

Nghe An is one of three provinces and cities of Vietnam.Malehas the largest number of laborers exported to Korea. Nghe An people are very grateful to the Korean Government and people for investing in Nghe An. The Vietnam - Korea Industrial Technical Vocational College has been very effective, training thousands of workers with intermediate and college level each year.

Comrade Ho Duc Phoc proposed that the Korean Government, through the Ambassador, help Nghe An implement an important project: the project to build a Thermal Power Center in Dong Hoi, Quynh Lap, Quynh Luu District. In the coming time, Nghe An hopes to continue receiving investment from Korean investors and enterprises in various fields, especially priority industries and fields: high-tech manufacturing associated with the potential, strengths, and resources of Nghe An, production of new materials, production of medical equipment, construction of infrastructure, seaports, processing technology, etc.

Ambassador Ha Chan Ho thanked Nghe An province for its warm welcome and friendship to the delegation. The Korean Embassy will be a bridge for Korean businesses and non-governmental organizations to invest in Nghe An.

Korean Embassy presents gifts to Provincial Children's Fund



Visit, give gifts, encourage families and disabled children

Also this morning, the delegation visited the Hitech BSE Vietnam Electronic and Telecommunication Equipment and Components Factory established by BSE Vietnam Electronics Company in Nam Cam Industrial Park; visited and presented gifts to poor children and orphans at the Provincial Children's Fund. On this occasion, the delegation donated 60 million VND to the Provincial Children's Fund.
