On January 5, 1966, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 133-NQ/TW on the establishment of the Central Legal Committee - the predecessor of today's Central Internal Affairs Committee.

Since its inception, over the years, the name, functions, tasks and organizational structure of the Party Internal Affairs sector have changed, but the sector has continued to grow.

The Nghe An Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee was re-established under Decision No. 4263-QD/TU dated June 10, 2013 of the Provincial Party Committee's Standing Committee and officially came into operation in September 2013.

In recent times, despite the increasing workload, including many new, difficult, sudden, complicated, sensitive tasks requiring strictness, accuracy, and timeliness, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has promoted tradition, solidarity, responsibility, overcome difficulties, made efforts, been proactive, creative, persistent, courageous, and determined to complete its tasks well.

The Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee has chaired, coordinated, advised, and proposed to the Party Committee, the Provincial Party Committee, the Standing Committee, and the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee to lead and direct the full concretization of the Central Resolutions and Directives; effectively implemented in the fields of internal affairs, judicial reform, and prevention and combat of corruption and negativity. With the achieved results, in 2022, the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee was classified as having excellently completed its tasks. The Party Cell was classified as having excellently completed its typical tasks.

On behalf of the working delegation, comrade Le Duc Cuong - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Head of the Provincial Party Organization Committee congratulated the collective achievements of the Provincial Party Committee's Internal Affairs Committee in the past year; at the same time, continue to promote the good traditions and achievements to continue to excellently fulfill the assigned tasks.
