(Baonghean) – This morning, December 21, the working delegation of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, Fatherland Front Committee of Nghe An province and departments and branches, led by comrade Tran Hong Chau - Standing Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council, visited and congratulated the military units stationed in the province on the occasion of the 67th anniversary of the founding of the Vietnam People's Army, 22nd anniversary of the National Defense Day (December 22).

Receiving the delegation at the Military Region 4 Command were Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan - Member of the Party Central Committee, Political Commissar of the Military Region and leaders of departments and branches under the Military Region.
Comrade Tran Hong Chau, on behalf of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, presented a flower basket to congratulate the Armed Forces of Military Region 4.
On behalf of the delegation, comrade Tran Hong Chau reported on some main features of the province's socio-economic situation in the past year, and expressed gratitude for the attention and support of the Military Region Command and its affiliated units to the province in many aspects, and hoped to continue to receive the attention and direct guidance of the Military Region Command in the coming time. Lieutenant General Mai Quang Phan thanked the province for its attention to the Military Region's armed forces, and will continue to direct and promote coordination with the province to strengthen national defense and security protection and socio-economic development.

At the Provincial Border Guard Command, Colonel Dinh Ngoc Van - Commander reported on the difficulties as well as the achievements of the Nghe An Border Guard during the year (in 2011, Nghe An Border Guard was 1/7 units awarded the Victory Emulation Flag by the Ministry of National Defense). He thanked the Provincial Party Committee and Provincial People's Committee for their constant attention and direction and promised to continue to maintain political security, border security, and complete assigned tasks.
Visiting and congratulating the officers and soldiers of the Provincial Military Command, comrade Tran Hong Chau affirmed: in the past time, the province's socio-economic situation has achieved many achievements, many targets have been met and exceeded, in which there is a significant contribution from the Provincial Military Command, the Provincial Military Command has coordinated well with the Military Command, leaders of districts, cities and towns to fulfill assigned tasks.
