Nghe An provincial leaders work with 145 million USD FDI investors and international technology partners

Representing the investor Radiant Opto - Electronics Corporation is Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu - Chairman of the Group. On the side of VSIP Nghe An Company Limited is Mr. Teng Wei Hong - General Director.

Lightning-fast progress of 145 million USD FDI project

The Radiant Opto - Electronics Vietnam Nghe An Factory Project has a total investment capital of 145 million USD on an area of ​​about 7 hectares in VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park; specializing in the production of high-end electronic components such as backlight modules (BLU), light guide plates (LGP) and brightness enhancing films (BEF).

These are the core components of TV screens, laptops, phones, cars and medical equipment, which are completely in line with the province's strategic orientation: Prioritizing attracting projects with high technology content, being environmentally friendly and using land and labor effectively.

Since receiving the first Investment Registration Certificate (December 21, 2023), the project has completed phase 1, phase 2 of the production area and phase 1 of the worker and expert accommodation area and will be inaugurated tomorrow (October 28).

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu - Chairman of Radiant Opto - Electronics Group shared: “Two years ago, also in this meeting room, we had our first meeting with the leaders of Nghe An province to discuss cooperation orientation. Time flies so fast and today, Radiant's factory project in Nghe An has been completed and is ready to go into operation. That is the clearest proof of our implementation capacity and determination”.

According to Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu, the factory in Nghe An plays a particularly important role in the Group's global development strategy. This is not only a step to expand production scale, the project is also a symbol of the Group's strategy to enhance the sustainability of the supply chain and green development.

On this occasion, Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu expressed his sincere thanks to the leaders of Nghe An province, the Management Board of the Southeast Economic Zone, VSIP Industrial Park and departments and branches for accompanying and supporting the project to overcome many challenges and reach the finish line soon.

Speaking at the meeting, Mr. Teng Wei Hong - General Director of VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. expressed his thanks to the Standing Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An and the departments and branches for taking the time to welcome and work in a friendly and open atmosphere.

Mr. Teng Wei Hong emphasized that Nghe An is a land of outstanding people, with a large area, rich resources, young and abundant human resources, reasonable costs, competitive land fund and rental prices.

In particular, the provincial government has an open and far-sighted investment attraction policy, with increasingly complete infrastructure, including seaports, airports, highways, railways and a quality human resource training system.

Since 2015, VSIP has been present in Nghe An and has developed 3 industrial parks and 1 complex urban area. He affirmed that VSIP is always ready to support and accompany businesses to learn, invest, and join hands to build Nghe An into an electronics production and precision manufacturing center of the North Central region.

Speaking at the working session with Radiant Opto - Electronics Group, VSIP Nghe An Company Limited and partners, Standing Vice Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An expressed his joy at welcoming Mr. Vuong Duc Sieu, along with his colleagues and partners to work in Nghe An.

Sending warm congratulations to the Group on its outstanding achievements in project implementation at VSIP Nghe An Industrial Park, the Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee highly appreciated the will, high determination and professional working style of Radiant Opto - Electronics Group; the professional management of the project leadership team at VSIP Nghe An.

In the coming time, he requested VSIP Nghe An Co., Ltd. and related departments and branches to continue to accompany Radiant Opto - Electronics Group in the operation and production phase; especially procedures on tax, customs, labor; electricity, water, traffic and telecommunication infrastructure.

The Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also requested VSIP and relevant agencies to speed up the implementation of the VSIP Nghe An III project with a scale of 180 hectares, a supporting industry development project that was granted an Investment Certificate under the witness of General Secretary To Lam and Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong during their working visit to Singapore last March.

Following the impressive results when VSIP Nghe An II completed 500 hectares in less than 1 year, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An said that the province is striving to carry out site clearance for the VSIP Nghe An III project by the end of 2025, and at the same time, expressed confidence that the project's implementation progress will continue to achieve results quickly and effectively like the previous phases.

In addition, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Thanh An requested VSIP to speed up the progress of developing the mixed urban and service area opposite VSIP I Industrial Park, to meet the needs of housing, commerce, education, healthcare and social services for experts, workers and investors.
