Leaders of Nghe An province visit and wish happy Bun Pi May to Lao provinces

(Baonghean.vn) - From April 2 to 4, 2014, a delegation of Nghe An province led by Mr. Thai Van Hang, member of the Provincial Party Committee Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, visited and wished a Happy New Year, Bun-pi-may, the traditional Lao New Year in the provinces of Khammuan, Bo-li-kham-xay and Vientiane.

These are localities that have a close relationship with Nghe An province, have a common border, especially the above-mentioned provinces have supported Nghe An province for many years, searching, collecting, and repatriating tens of thousands of martyrs' remains; These are also provinces where hundreds of Nghe An enterprises are cooperating and investing in many fields. On this occasion, the leaders of Lao localities expressed their gratitude to Nghe An province for helping Lao provinces in all fields in the past time, demonstrating the special and loyal relationship between the two peoples in general, and the localities of the two countries in particular, which is increasingly going into depth and practical effectiveness.

During this time, Nghe An province also sent a delegation chaired by the Border Guard Command to extend New Year greetings to the leaders and people of the two twin provinces of Xiengkhuang and Huaphan.
