Provincial leaders visit and give gifts to families of traffic accident victims
This morning, November 16, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee visited and presented gifts to families with relatives who died or were injured in traffic accidents in difficult circumstances in some wards and communes of Vinh city.
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, November 16, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Deputy Head of the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee visited and presented gifts to families with relatives who died or were injured in traffic accidents in difficult circumstances in some wards and communes of Vinh city.
This is an activity to implement the Plan of the National Traffic Safety Committee on organizing activities in response to "World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims" in Vietnam in 2012.
At block 9, Truong Thi ward, Vinh city, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien visited and expressed condolences to the family of Mr. Dau Hong Quang whose daughter and son-in-law, Dau Mai Huong - Nguyen Xuan Dieu, died in a traffic accident in 2001. Since then, Mr. Quang's family has raised and cared for 2 children of Ms. Huong and Mr. Dieu's family, including the eldest child who is in university and the other in 10th grade.
Comrade Huynh Thanh Dien visited, encouraged and gave gifts to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang in block 4, who broke her leg and lost the ability to work due to a traffic accident since 2007.
Also in Truong Thi ward, the delegation visited, encouraged and presented gifts to the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Hang in block 4, who broke her leg and lost the ability to work due to a traffic accident in 2007. Due to the consequences of the traffic accident, Ms. Hang has to regularly go to the hospital for treatment to regain her ability to walk. Her family is also one of the 10 poor families in the ward.
Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Huynh Thanh Dien also visited and encouraged the family of Ms. Nguyen Thi Than (Yen Binh block, Hung Phuc ward). In 2007, Ms. Than had an accident that completely crushed her thigh bone. Since then, she has lost the ability to work, the family has fallen into difficult circumstances and is a poor household in Hung Phuc ward.
Visiting, giving gifts, encouraging and sharing with families whose relatives were victims of traffic accidents and are in especially difficult circumstances, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien hopes that everyone will overcome their circumstances to continue building their families and raising their children to adulthood. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the authorities of the wards to create conditions to help and support the families materially and spiritually so that they can ease the pain and loss and stabilize their lives.
Also today, the Provincial Traffic Safety Committee organized 3 delegations with representatives of the Department of Transport, the Provincial Police, and the Fatherland Front to visit and present gifts to 10 families of traffic accident victims. According to the plan, the Provincial People's Committee will organize a memorial service for the victims of traffic accidents on November 19 at the Provincial Labor Culture House.
