Provincial leaders visited and presented gifts on the occasion of July 27 in Anh Son

(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day July 27, 1947 - July 27, 2012, this morning July 23, the Provincial Working Delegation led by Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Council visited and presented gifts to the families of martyrs in Anh Son district. Accompanying the Delegation were leaders of the Provincial Military Command, provincial departments, branches, and the People's Committee of Anh Son district.

Accompanying the Delegation were leaders of the Provincial Military Command, provincial departments, branches, and the People's Committee of Anh Son district.





The delegation offered incense at the Vietnam - Laos Martyrs' Cemetery Memorial Site

At block 6A of Anh Son town, the delegation visited Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh, 95 years old, whose two sons, Dang Xuan Thinh and Dang Xuan Vuong, were both martyrs who died in the Quang Tri battlefield. Currently, Heroic Mother Nguyen Thi Thanh is living with her daughter-in-law, Duong Thi Dai, who is also the wife of martyr Dang Xuan Thinh. Next, the delegation visited and presented gifts to Heroic Mother Ha Thi Duc, 97 years old, in hamlet 11, Vinh Kim village (Hoa Son commune, Anh Son district), whose only son is martyr Ha Van Tao, who died in 1969 at the Southern front. On behalf of the delegation, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh presented gifts from the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee to the Heroic Mothers and wished them a long and healthy life, to be a tall and shady tree for their descendants in the clan, family, and society to follow.

Both have reached a high age, and have given their beloved children to the country. Both Vietnamese Heroic Mothers expressed their gratitude to the provincial, industry and district leaders for their concern for their children and grandchildren, and for their health over the years.

Before that, the Delegation also offered incense to pay tribute to the heroic martyrs who died for the noble international cause at the Vietnam-Laos martyrs cemetery and presented gifts to the cemetery management board.

Expressing their emotions at the incense offering ceremony, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh and the delegation prayed for the souls of the martyrs to rest in peace and deliverance, and for the martyrs to always bless the nation and the people.
