Provincial leaders visited and presented gifts to TBB and the Home for Martyrs' Relatives
(Baonghean.vn) -On the occasion of the 66th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, on the morning of July 26, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee visited and presented gifts to policy units and exemplary policy families in Dien Chau district.
Here, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh and the delegation visited the Home for Martyrs' Relatives located in Dien Chau district - a unit under the Department of Labor, War Invalids and Social Affairs of the province, with the function of receiving and caring for relatives of policy families living alone and without support.
Comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh presented gifts to relatives of martyrs and staff of the Home for Relatives of Martyrs of Nghe An.
The unit is currently directly raising and caring for 42 people, including 36 relatives of martyrs and Vietnamese Heroic Mothers. Overcoming difficulties due to the nature of the work, over the years the unit has performed well the assigned tasks, ensuring health, regime and living conditions for the subjects.
Talking with the staff and relatives of the policy families, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh was very excited because the martyrs' relatives were all taken care of thoughtfully and affectionately like a warm family. She suggested that the center's staff, when performing their work, should do it with all their responsibility and heart to complete their tasks even better, considering this an act of gratitude to the martyrs who heroically sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland.
