(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of February 28, at the Office of the People's Committee of Nghe An province, Comrade Thai Van Hang - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee received and worked with Ambassador Anuson Chinvanno - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Thailand. Also attending were leaders of a number of provincial departments and branches.

On behalf of the leaders of Nghe An province, Comrade Thai Van Hang expressed his joy to welcome and welcome the Ambassador and the members of the delegation on their visit and work in Nghe An. Comrade Thai Van Hang informed the Ambassador about the socio-economic situation of Nghe An, the strengths of Nghe An in investment cooperation with friendly countries, including Thailand. At the same time, he affirmed that over the past years, the cooperative relationship between Vietnam and Thailand as well as between Nghe An and Thai enterprises has continuously developed.

At the investment promotion conference in early spring of Nham Thin, Nghe An received and granted investment licenses to Royal Food Company Limited of Thailand with 3 investment projects with a total investment capital of 40 million USD. Currently, Nghe An is cooperating and calling for investment in the fields of: mineral exploitation and processing; agricultural-phosphate-seafood processing; trade-tourism; healthcare-education-transportation. These are also the strengths that Thai investors are very interested in. Nghe An province always opens its doors and creates the most favorable conditions for businesses to invest in Nghe An. The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee hopes that the Ambassador will be a bridge for friendship and for Thai businesses to invest in Nghe An.

Speaking at the meeting, Ambassador Anuson Chivanno thanked Nghe An province for the warm welcome and promised to contribute his best to the development of cooperation between the people of Thailand and Vietnam in general and Thailand and Nghe An in particular./.
