(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of February 5, a working delegation from Xieng Khouang province (Lao PDR) led by Comrade Kham Pao - Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Deputy Governor of Xieng Khouang province visited and worked at the Border Guard Command of Nghe An. Also attending were representatives of the Vietnam - Laos Friendship Association of Nghe An province.

Comrade Kham-Pao sent New Year greetings to all officers and soldiers of Nghe An Border Guard, and wished that the cooperative relationship of solidarity, friendship, steadfastness, loyalty and clarity between Nghe An province and Xieng Khouang province in general, and between Xieng Khouang province's armed forces and Nghe An Border Guard would increasingly develop.

Receiving the delegation, Colonel Le Nhu Cuong - Political Commissar of Nghe An Border Guard thanked the leaders, people and armed forces of Xieng Khouang province for their attention.
At the same time, he affirmed that in the coming time, the functional forces of the two sides will continue to strengthen cooperation, prevent all types of crimes; effectively prevent illegal border crossings and migration, increase information exchange, maintain security, order and social safety in border areas, contributing to fostering the special friendship between Vietnam and Laos.
