Leaders of the General Department of Vocational Training inspected vocational training in Yen Thanh
(Baonghean) -On the morning of October 2, Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - Director General of the General Department of Vocational Training (Ministry of Labor, Invalids and Social Affairs) inspected vocational training in Yen Thanh district. Accompanying him were representatives from a number of provincial departments, agencies and branches.
The delegation inspected Yen Thanh Vocational College of Agriculture and Industry - a place that trains many professions for local people, such as: industrial sewing, veterinary husbandry, mushroom growing techniques, ornamental plants, breeding cows, etc., visited some short-term training classes on transferring scientific and technical advances and product production processes in the direction of goods after vocational training for farmers in Trung Thanh and Nam Thanh communes.
Mr. Nguyen Tien Dung - praised the efforts in training and maintaining occupations according to the Government's Project 1956 in Yen Thanh district, and acknowledged the development of new occupations such as mushroom cultivation. In the winter crop of 2012 alone, the district opened 14 classes to transfer mushroom cultivation techniques in 14 communes, with over 500 students participating, striving to supply the market with over 300 tons of fresh mushroom products, contributing to solving employment right in the locality and increasing income for workers.
