Vinh City leaders congratulate Yen Dai Parish on Christmas 2013
(Baonghean.vn) - On the occasion of Christmas 2013 and welcoming the New Year 2014, on the morning of December 22, Vinh City leaders led by comrade Vo Viet Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee - Secretary of the City Party Committee came to congratulate the dignitaries and parishioners of Yen Dai parish - Nghi Phu commune - Vinh City.
Yen Dai parish currently has more than 5,300 parishioners, belonging to three parishes: Dong Kien, Dong Yen, Dong Tan and gathering more than 2,000 Catholic students to study and live. In recent years, with the care and attention of the Bishop's Office, the Party, the local government, and the great solidarity of the Fatherland Front at all levels, the active activities of the Pastoral Council, Yen Dai parish has increasingly developed in all aspects, parishioners trust and enthusiastically implement the Party's policies and guidelines, the State's laws, striving to eradicate hunger and reduce poverty, and become rich legitimately.
