North Korean leader wants to sign a peace treaty with the US
(Baonghean.vn) - North Korean leader Kim Jong-un wants to sign a peace treaty and establish diplomatic relations with the United States, including the placement of a US Embassy in Pyongyang. The information was reported by the Dong-A Ilbo newspaper in Seoul, citing an unnamed senior official of the South Korean Presidential Office.

According to the newspaper, Mr. Kim Jong-un is likely to propose a peace treaty as well as the denuclearization of North Korea during the summit with US President Donald Trump.
Last week, the US leader accepted an invitation to meet the North Korean leader, but the time and location have not yet been decided.
Earlier, a White House official revealed that US President Donald Trump will meet with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un on the condition that Pyongyang keeps its promise on nuclear disarmament as well as on missile and nuclear tests.
In addition, during the summit between the leaders of the two Koreas scheduled to take place next month, Mr. Kim Jong-un will also propose resuming cultural exchanges and reuniting families separated by the war./.
