Restoring order and security at Yen Ly intersection
(Baonghean) -Yen Ly intersection - the intersection of National Highway 1A, National Highway 48 and the railway station, has always been considered a hot spot for public order and security in Dien Yen commune and the northern Dien Chau area.
According to statistics from the security force of Dien Yen commune - Dien Chau (Nghe An), in this area there are often 50 subjects who drive motorbikes, shuttle buses, jump on vehicles to force passengers, and ask for money; some drug users take advantage of the humanitarian policy of providing free syringes (to prevent HIV infection) to go around buying, selling, smoking, and injecting, making the drug crime situation in this area even more complicated.
Faced with the above situation, the leaders of Dien Yen commune directed the commune security force to coordinate with the working group of Dien Chau district police to investigate, compile a list of subjects, and develop a plan to launch a crime sweep. According to the report of Dien Yen commune police, from July 20 to August 11, 2011, the commune security force coordinated with 2 working groups of Dien Chau district police to sweep and arrest 8 drug addicts who specialized in theft and causing trouble in the area and sent them to compulsory drug rehabilitation; 4 subjects fled the area, of which one subject was arrested by Yen Thanh district police.
Along with the activities of hunting down and suppressing dangerous criminals and tracking down those who are still operating secretly, the leaders of Dien Yen commune directed local organizations to step up propaganda and education work in the community, mobilize the masses to detect criminals, and call on fugitives to surrender.
