Passenger bus overturned, killing 3 people and injuring 27 others
At around 7:15 a.m. on June 9, on National Highway 1A, through Dien An Commune, Dien Ban District, Quang Nam Province, a horrific rollover accident occurred, killing 3 people and injuring 27 others.

At the scene, the Mai Linh passenger bus, license plate 30X-8957, traveling from South to North carrying more than 30 passengers fell onto the negative slope of National Highway 1A (about 7m from the road surface) and was crushed.
At the time of the accident, Ms. Phan Thi Thuy Huong (30 years old, residing in Ngoc Tam village, Dien An commune) was weeding rice in a field near the national highway when she heard a loud noise. When she turned around, she saw a passenger bus falling from the national highway and being crushed. Afterwards, she and some local people tried to rescue the victims from the bus and reported it to the authorities.
The vehicle involved in the accident was on the Buon Ma Thuot-Da Nang route, driven by Phan Luu (born in 1968, residing in Hoa Cuong ward, Da Nang city), who lost control.
According to initial information, 3 people died on the spot and 27 injured people were taken to Vinh Duc General Hospital, Quang Nam for emergency treatment.
After the accident, Quang Nam provincial police deployed traffic control and direction along the old national highway, running in Vinh Dien town, Dien Ban district.
Quang Nam Provincial Police Investigation Agency is continuing to conduct an autopsy and collect data to clarify the cause of the incident./.
