Seeking comments on the draft Law on State Audit (amended)
(Baonghean.vn) - On the afternoon of March 3, the Provincial National Assembly Delegation held a conference to collect comments on the draft Law on State Audit (amended). Comrade Pham Van Tan, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation chaired the conference.
Attending were representatives of the People's Council, Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and relevant departments, branches and sectors.

The Law on State Audit (amended) has 9 chapters and 75 articles, including regulations on the legal status, functions, tasks, powers, organization and operation of the State Audit; tasks and powers of State Auditors; responsibilities of relevant agencies, organizations and individuals regarding State audit activities; audited units and ensuring the operation of the State Audit.
Contributing to the draft Law, delegates had many opinions focusing on a number of contents with many different views such as: scope of regulation, explanation of terms; tasks of the State Audit, audit content, responsibilities of agencies and organizations in State Audit activities and handling of violations of the law on State Audit.

Delegates said that the law needs to stipulate more clearly the regulations on prohibited acts, audit period and term of office of the State Auditor General; on handling violations of State audit, regulations on authority to resolve complaints about audit results in accordance with current legal regulations on complaints and litigation...
Concluding the conference, comrade Pham Van Tan, Head of the Provincial National Assembly Delegation, highly appreciated the opinions of the delegates and the office of the National Assembly Delegation will receive, synthesize and edit them to contribute to the upcoming National Assembly session.
