Ceremony to announce the decision to establish Hoang Mai Town Medical Center

(Baonghean.vn) -On the afternoon of May 30, Nghe An Department of Health held a ceremony to announce Decision No. 1577/QD-UBND of the Chairman of Nghe An Provincial People's Committee on the establishment of Hoang Mai Town Medical Center.

Director of Health Department Bui Dinh Long presented the decision to Doctor Vu Ngoc Phu - Director of Hoang Mai Town Medical Center.

According to the above decision, Dr. Vu Ngoc Phu - former Deputy Director of Quynh Luu District General Hospital will be appointed as Director of Hoang Mai Town Medical Center. Along with that, the Department of Health will transfer 50 staff from the Quynh Luu District Health Sector to work at the Town Medical Center. Of which, 36 doctors and nurses will be transferred from Quynh Luu District General Hospital and 14 doctors and nurses will be transferred from Quynh Luu District Medical Center. The first phase of the Hoang Mai Town Medical Center will receive the facilities of the Hoang Mai Regional General Clinic and transfer 30 more beds from Quynh Luu General Hospital. By 2016, the Town Medical Center will be invested in construction in Quynh Di Ward.

The establishment of Hoang Mai Town Medical Center not only has the meaning of completing the administrative apparatus of the town but also creates favorable conditions for local people in medical examination and treatment. At the same time, it effectively implements national target programs on health and community preventive health programs.
