This relic cluster has historical and spiritual value and was built around the 16th century to worship Princess Que Hoa and the ancestors of the Le Nhu family. Up to now, according to the memories of the people and the genealogy of the Le Nhu family, according to the royal decrees of King Thanh Thai, Duy Tan and Khai Dinh that are still preserved, Princess Que Hoa was the daughter of the Le Nhu family, who gave up royal life to live with the poor people in Dang village, Yen Luu commune, Yen Truong canton (now Phong Yen village, Hung Hoa commune, Vinh city).

Comrade Nguyen Trung Chau - Vice Chairman of Vinh City People's Committee read a speech, emphasizing the educational significance of patriotism and love for people of the relic complex worshiping Princess Que Hoa. |
From a saline land, flooded all year round and poor, Princess Que Hoa gathered villagers to dig a ditch to lead water (now the Hoi Ba Co relic remains), build roads, develop the sedge weaving profession, bringing a prosperous life to the people.
After her death, Princess Que Hoa appeared to save the world and protect the country. The people in the area built a temple to worship her and many feudal dynasties conferred royal decrees. The royal decree of King Thanh Thai affirmed that Princess Que Hoa was "a responsive deity, helping people protect the country". At Ba Co Temple, there are still preserved artifacts of historical value such as royal decrees, royal hats given to Princess Que Hoa, tablets, palanquins, large inscriptions, ancient parallel sentences...
On this occasion, comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh presented the National Historical Relic Certificate to the leaders of Vinh city and Hung Hoa commune; the leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism gave instructions on the necessity to continue preserving and promoting the value of relics and heritage, honoring works with profound educational significance on patriotism and love for the people.
