Ceremony to receive the certificate of historical relic of Ton family temple, Vo Liet commune - Thanh Chuong
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of November 17, 2012, the People's Committee of Thanh Chuong district, the people of Vo Liet commune and many descendants from near and far solemnly held a ceremony to receive the certificate of the Ton family temple relic.
The Ton family temple was built at the end of the Nguyen Dynasty to worship the ancestors of the family - those who have contributed to the people and the country and have contributed to glorifying the traditions of their homeland. The most prominent of these are Mr. Ton Huy Tien (alias Lo Xuyen) and his children and grandchildren Ton Huy Than, Ton Quang Phiet, Ton Thi Que... In particular, the relic still preserves many artifacts such as fake genealogies, thrones, tablets, parallel sentences, royal decrees, stone steles... with high historical, artistic and aesthetic values.

Leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism awarded the certificate of recognition of the Ton family's temple as a historical relic to the family.
The decision of the Provincial People's Committee to recognize the historical relic of the Ton family temple demonstrates the attention of the Party and the State, recognizing the contributions of the Ton ancestors to the country and homeland; and is a legal basis for protecting and promoting the value of the relic.
