(Baonghean.vn) - This morning, December 7, at Kim Lien Relic Site (Nam Dan, Nghe An), the Provincial Party Committee - People's Committee of Nghe An province solemnly held a ceremony to receive the Certificate of Special National Relic Site of President Ho Chi Minh Memorial Site.

Attending the ceremony were comrades: Nguyen Xuan Phuc - Politburo member, Deputy Prime Minister; Nguyen The Ky - Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda Department; representatives of the Central Party Office; Command of President Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum; Command of Military Region 4; Ha Tinh Provincial Party Committee; a number of central ministries, departments and branches. Before the ceremony, Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and delegates offered flowers and incense to commemorate President Ho Chi Minh at the Kim Lien Relic Site Memorial House; offered flowers and incense at the house of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, Nguyen Sinh Nham's shrine, Hoang Thi Loan's tomb, Ha Thi Hy's tomb on Dong Tranh mountain, Nam Giang commune, Nam Dan; and visited Kim Lien Commune Library. Here, comrades Nguyen Xuan Phuc, Nguyen The Ky and provincial leaders donated 35 million VND to the library to buy more books to serve the reading needs of the people.

The opening ceremony of the National Monument Certificate reception was an artistic epic performance about President Ho Chi Minh's childhood, performed by singers and artists from the Nghe An Folk Song Research and Development Center, which moved the audience.

In order to promote and effectively exploit the heritage values ​​of President Ho Chi Minh for traditional education, the Provincial People's Committee has planned the "Project to preserve and embellish Kim Lien relic site associated with tourism development" which was approved by the Government in July 2003. The project has a total investment of more than 300 billion VND. Up to now, the project has been basically completed and put into effective exploitation and use, meeting the expectations of the people of the whole country and international tourists. In particular, nOn May 10, 2012, the Prime Minister decided to recognize Kim Lien Relic Site as a special national relic site.

Speaking at the ceremony, the Deputy Prime Minister emphasized: Nghe An is a locality rich in patriotic and revolutionary traditions, with a long cultural history, honored as a land of outstanding people, the birthplace of many talented people, typically our beloved President Ho Chi Minh... In order for Nghe An to increasingly develop, become rich and beautiful, preserve and promote the values ​​of this special national historical relic site worthy of the revolutionary tradition of Uncle Ho's homeland, in the coming time, the Party Committee, Government and people of Nghe An need to join hands and strive to realize Uncle Ho's wish of "becoming the best province".
