Leaders of the provincial Department of Culture, Information and Sports awarded the certificate of recognition of the historical relic of Quan Lon Bung Temple.

Quan Lon Bung Temple was built in the 18th century to worship Grand Tutor Doan Quan Cong Bui The Dat. He was a man who made many contributions to protecting the country and held many positions in the Le - Trinh court. He was also the one who drew the map of the two archipelagos of Truong Sa and Hoang Sa, contributing to affirming Vietnam's sovereignty over the sea and islands today.

In 1781, Duke Bui The Dat passed away and was buried in Hai Trung hamlet, Dien Bich commune. After his death, the Le Dynasty awarded him the title of Phuc Than. To commemorate the Duke's merits, the people built a temple to worship him in Trung Yen hamlet, Dien Ngoc commune, called Quan Bung Temple, now Quan Lon Bung Temple.
