Groundbreaking ceremony of the project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 535, Vinh - Cua Hoi section
(Baonghean.vn) -This morning, March 18, Nghe An Department of Transport held the groundbreaking ceremony for the project to upgrade and expand Provincial Road 535, Vinh-Cua Hoi section, package 5 Km 0+72- Km 1+388. Attending the ceremony were Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of Vinh City People's Committee.
The project to upgrade and expand provincial road 535, Vinh - Cua Hoi section, invested by Nghe An Department of Transport with a total investment of 2,507 billion VND (phase 1: 1,335 billion VND, phase 2: 1,172 billion VND); the route length is 11km, passing through Vinh city, Nghi Loc district and Cua Lo town. The starting point is Km0 intersection with Nguyen Sy Sach street in Hung Loc commune, Vinh city; Km + 107 intersection with Binh Minh street in Nghi Hai ward, Cua Lo town. This is a synchronously designed route, satisfying high technical requirements, ensuring the circulation of super-long and super-heavy vehicles with large traffic volume.

The investment in the construction of the project is of utmost importance, meeting the increasing transportation demand on Provincial Road 535, reducing traffic congestion, while meeting the needs of socio-economic development, protecting national security and defense, in line with the development plan of Vinh City to become the political and economic center of the North Central region. However, due to limited capital, Nghe An Provincial People's Committee is currently focusing on allocating funds to pay compensation for land acquisition and site clearance and investing in the construction of the section Km 0+72-Km 1+388.
Speaking at the ceremony, the investor and the construction unit hoped for coordination from all levels and sectors, focusing on directing management units, consultants, and contractors to build the completed route with the highest quality, ensuring progress, efficiency, and safety.
