"Moon Festival - Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese children"
The program "Moon Festival - Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese Children 2014" with the desire to help children celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with lots of love will take place in Can Tho City on September 7.

The program is organized by the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Central Council of the Young Pioneers in coordination with Vietnam Television and broadcast live on VTV1 at 8:00 p.m. on September 7.
At the press conference held on September 3 in Hanoi, Secretary of the Central Youth Union Le Quoc Phong said that this is a traditional program that has been held annually for the past 6 years on the occasion of the Mid-Autumn Festival in provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City, Nghe An... this year, "Moon Festival - Lighting up the dreams of Vietnamese children" will come to children in the Southwest region.
The festival was attended by 180 children from 12 southwestern provinces such as Tien Giang, Long An, Dong Thap, Vinh Long, Tra Vinh, Ben Tre, Hau Giang, Soc Trang, An Giang, Kien Giang, Bac Lieu, Ca Mau and nearly 1,000 children from districts of Can Tho city. Here, the children had the opportunity to exchange and learn, participate in folk games, draw pictures, tell stories about their difficult lives, their small dreams and visit historical and cultural relics of the city.
It is known that within the framework of the program, 300 poor children with difficult circumstances who have made great efforts in their studies will receive scholarships worth 1 million VND and gifts worth 300,000 VND. 40 outstanding poor children who have overcome difficulties will receive 40 scholarships, each worth 3 million VND./.
