(Baonghean.vn)- On the evening of March 25, at Ban Ve Hydropower Plant, Yen Na Commune, Tuong Duong District, the Youth Union of Ban Ve Hydropower Company held a twinning ceremony with Tuong Duong District Youth Union.
Attending the ceremony were representatives of the Provincial Party Committee, Provincial Youth Union, leaders of Ban Ve Hydropower Company, District Party Committee, People's Committee of Tuong Duong district and a large number of youth union members of the two units.

Over the past years, the Youth Union of Ban Ve Hydropower Company and the Youth Union of Tuong Duong district have had many coordinated activities to promote education and training of youth union members; to propagate and mobilize people in the mountainous area of Tuong Duong to well implement the Party's policies and the State's laws. Therefore, the signing of the agreement between the two Youth Union organizations aims to further improve the effectiveness of coordination and mutual support in carrying out the task of educating the youth on consciousness, ethics and revolutionary ideals.

Within the framework of the twinning activities, the two youth organizations agreed to effectively organize propaganda and mobilize people in Tuong Duong to grasp the correct schedule of hydropower water discharge to ensure safety for people and property. Every year, the two youth organizations organize cultural, artistic and sports exchanges on holidays; Promote volunteer activities, help ethnic minorities to eliminate hunger and sustainably reduce poverty. From 2014 to 2019, each year, sponsor 2 poor students, give 10-15 gifts to policy families, families in difficult circumstances and successfully build at least one youth project and work each year in the localities of Tuong Duong. The twinning activities between the two youth organizations will contribute to the Party Committee, government and people of the highlands of Tuong Duong to promote socio-economic development, eliminate hunger, sustainably reduce poverty, and improve the lives of ethnic minorities in the district.
