(Baonghean.vn) - With the approval of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, this morning, June 10, at Chung Mountain (Kim Lien Commune, Nam Dan District), the Party Committee, Government and people of Nghe An Province solemnly held a groundbreaking ceremony to build a Temple to worship the parents and siblings of President Ho Chi Minh.

Perspective of the Temple of Uncle Ho's parents and relatives

Before the ceremony, the collective of actors and artists of Nghe An Mountain Song and Dance Troupe presented to the delegates a special art program with the theme of Uncle Ho and Mother of Sen Village.

The speech at the ceremony, presented by comrade Phan Dinh Trac - Member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, stated: The construction of the Temple of President Ho Chi Minh's family is an important project with profound political significance to express gratitude for the great contributions of Uncle Ho's parents and siblings, in accordance with the morality of "When drinking water, remember its source" of our nation. Nghe An province has asked for the opinion of the Party Central Committee Secretariat, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism to unify the construction of the temple at Chung mountain in Kim Lien commune, Nam Dan, his hometown. The Party Committee, government and people of Nghe An province will build the project to ensure harmony between the temple and the items, landscape, space of Chung mountain and relic sites related to President Ho Chi Minh, while creating favorable conditions for the protection and promotion of the value of the relic site, serving tourism development, meeting the spiritual needs of people and visitors from near and far.

Speaking at the ceremony, National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Sinh Hung emphasized: This is a historical and cultural project for people at home and abroad to pay their respects to the parents and siblings of President Ho Chi Minh every time they visit Kim Lien, Nam Dan. I believe that Nghe An province will build a project worthy of the expectations of the people of the whole country. On behalf of the Nguyen Sinh and Hoang Xuan families, I would like to thank the Party Committee and people of Nghe An province for their idea of building a temple and for the Politburo's approval to hold the groundbreaking ceremony today.

Also at the ceremony, leaders of the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism hoped that Nghe An province would build the temple in accordance with the law on cultural heritage, follow the steps according to the process to ensure the right progress, and soon hand over and put into use this important project.
