With the message “When a million small dreams need a big gesture”, the scholarship program “For studious children” aims to support disadvantaged students to have better conditions to study, practice, improve their lives and build a career in the future.
The scholarship program "For studious children" is implemented by the Ministry of Education and Training, the Vietnam Association for Promoting Education in collaboration with Viettel Telecom Corporation for 10 years with a total estimated cost of more than 200 billion VND.

In Nghe An, in the period of 2014 - 2019, the "For studious children" scholarship will be awarded to students in difficult circumstances, with the will to improve in life (for primary school students with good academic performance and good conduct; for secondary school students with good academic performance and good conduct) at primary and secondary schools of 119 communes (including 107 extremely disadvantaged communes, border communes, 12 extremely disadvantaged communes in coastal and island areas).
Every year, each commune under the policy will be supported with 10 scholarships (5 for primary school students, 5 for secondary school students), in cash or in kind, including tools and supplies to serve the students during their studies, worth 1 million VND/scholarship; equivalent to a budget of 1.19 billion VND per year.
Starting from the 2014-2015 school year, the “For studious students” scholarship will be awarded to poor but studious students right after the end of the first semester; in the following years, the scholarship will be awarded at the end of the school year.
