Celebration of the 121st Birthday of President Ho Chi Minh and Opening Ceremony of the 2011 Lotus Village Festival
(Baonghean) -This morning, May 17, at the Kim Lien Commune Cultural House (Nam Dan District, Nghe An), the opening ceremony of the 121st Birthday Anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh and the 2011 Lotus Village Festival was held.
Attending the event, on the provincial side, there were comrade Ho Duc Phoc - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; representatives of provincial departments, branches, and sectors, Nam Dan district and a large number of people from Uncle Ho's hometown.
Comrade Tran Dinh Huong - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the District Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Council of Nam Dan district read the opening speech, highlighting the great contributions of President Ho Chi Minh to the International Communist movement, to the country of Vietnam and his hometown Nam Dan. At the same time, the opening speech also stated the determination of the cadres and people of the district to continue to stabilize and innovate in the economic, cultural, social, health, educational aspects... worthy of being the hometown of President Ho Chi Minh, worthy of the noble awards: Second-class Labor Medal and Excellent Emulation Flag recently awarded by the Party and Government.
