Launching ceremony in response to Earth Hour 2013

Attending were Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of a number of departments and sectors and more than 2,000 youth union members of Vinh University.

Attending were Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, leaders of a number of departments and sectors and more than 2,000 youth union members of Vinh University.
Earth Hour 2013 will start from 8:30 pm to 9:30 pm tonight (March 23) with the slogan "You and I, let's take action together". This is the 4th year Nghe An has participated in responding to Earth Hour.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Huynh Thanh Dien - Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: The Earth Hour campaign has shown the effectiveness of environmental protection in general and energy saving in particular. This year's Earth Hour, along with propaganda activities, raising awareness to the majority of people, agencies and offices need to build awareness of regularly using energy economically and effectively, protecting the environment.

Immediately after the launching ceremony, comrade Huynh Thanh Dien, leaders of several departments and a large number of students from Vinh University divided into two groups to participate in a bicycle parade to promote Earth Hour on the streets of Vinh City.
