(Baonghean.vn) -On the morning of January 11, at Dien Thanh Primary School, the Provincial Preventive Medicine Center in collaboration with the People's Committee of Dien Chau District organized the launching ceremony of the project "Handwashing with soap for a healthy Vietnam 2013 - 2014". Attending the launching ceremony were Professor, Doctor Nguyen Huy Nga - Director of the Department of Health Environment Management, Ministry of Health, representatives of the Department of Health, the Provincial Project Management Board, a large number of people and students of Dien Chau District.

With the attention and direction of the Ministry of Health and the financial support of Unilever Vietnam Foundation, Dien Chau is the only district in Nghe An to benefit from the project “Handwashing with soap for a healthy Vietnam 2013-2014” for 2 consecutive years. In 2012-2013, the project was implemented in 2 communes Dien Hoa and Dien Cat, achieving many good results. This year, the project continues to expand to 2 new communes Dien Thanh and Dien Hong.
