(Baonghean.vn) - This morning (January 20), in Cua Lo town, the North Central Mobile Police Regiment held a launching ceremony and deployed its tasks for 2015.

Attending the launching ceremony were Lieutenant General Do Duc Kinh - Political Commissar of the Mobile Police Command; Major General Hoang Tho Manh - Deputy Commander of the Mobile Police; Nguyen Sy Hoi - Deputy Commander of Military Region IV; Nguyen Xuan Lam - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Director of the Provincial Police.

The North Central Mobile Police Regiment was established under Decision No. 4183/QD-BCA-X11, dated July 25, 2014 of the Ministry of Public Security (code E26). This is a special combat unit, responsible for assisting the Mobile Police Commander in managing and commanding the unit to regularly practice combat readiness, quickly mobilize to prevent and promptly suppress disturbances, illegal demonstrations, political violence, armed riots, coordinate the pursuit of dangerous criminals; organize patrols, control and maintain security and order, contribute to protecting national security and maintaining social order and safety; participate in rescue, natural disaster prevention, overcoming the consequences of storms, floods and fires.

The Mobile Police Regiment under the Mobile Police Command is stationed in Cua Lo town with an organizational structure consisting of 4 subordinate battalions stationed and operating in 4 provinces of Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, and Quang Binh.

Major General Hoang Tho Manh - Deputy Commander of Mobile Police awarded Certificates of Merit to individuals with outstanding achievements in 2014.

On this occasion, the Mobile Police Command awarded Certificates of Merit to 3 groups and 6 individuals who had outstanding achievements in performing political tasks in 2014.
