Flag-raising ceremony of two submarines Hai Phong and Khanh Hoa
On the morning of August 1, at Cam Ranh Military Port (Khanh Hoa), the Navy held a flag-raising ceremony for two submarines 184-Hai Phong and 185-Khanh Hoa.

Rear Admiral Pham Hoai Nam - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, Commander of the Navy; Rear Admiral Dinh Gia That - Secretary of the Party Committee, Political Commissar of the Navy attended the ceremony. Also present were leaders of localities, the Army, the Navy and officers and soldiers of the 189th Navy Submarine Brigade.
Assigning tasks to the two ship crews, Rear Admiral Pham Hoai Nam emphasized: This is a noble responsibility that the Party, State, people, army and service placed on the shoulders of the officers and sailors of the two ships in particular and the collective of Brigade 189 Navy in general.
The Navy Commander also affirmed that the event of receiving and officially putting two Kilo 636 submarines, numbered 184-Hai Phong and 185-Khanh Hoa, into service of the 189th Naval Brigade is a continuation of extremely important successes.
This event also marked a turning point in the modern development of the Navy in particular and the Vietnam People's Army in general.
