Ceremony of presenting the woodblock engraved with the name of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac
(Baonghean.vn) - On the morning of December 18 (October 27, Giap Ngo year), at Kim Lien Relic Site - Special National Relic, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism held the 85th death anniversary of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac - father of President Ho Chi Minh and the ceremony to present the Woodblock version of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac from the State Records and Archives Department to Kim Lien Relic Site.
Attending the ceremony were comrades Vu Thi Minh Huong - Director of the Department of State Records and Archives; Nguyen Xuan Hung - Director of the National Archives Center IV. On the provincial side, there were comrade Dinh Thi Le Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Ho Mau Thanh - Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; representatives of a number of provincial departments, branches and sectors; leaders of Nam Dan district, Kim Lien commune, the Nguyen Sinh and Hoang Xuan families and people of Kim Lien commune.

At the death anniversary, offering gifts and incense sticks before the altar of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, the delegates held a memorial service to express their deep gratitude to Nguyen Sinh Sac - a patriotic Confucian scholar, an exemplary physician who gave birth to and raised President Ho Chi Minh, the Hero of National Liberation, a world cultural celebrity. Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, is a shining example that had a profound influence on the life of President Ho Chi Minh. He had a patriotic personality, was compassionate and tolerant, lived close to and was full of affection for the working people.

Next, the delegates held a memorial service for President Ho Chi Minh, expressing their respect and infinite gratitude for the immense contributions of President Ho Chi Minh, who devoted and sacrificed his whole life for the cause of national liberation, class liberation, and the struggle for peace and happiness of the Vietnamese people and people of the world. They vowed to forever study and follow his moral example, contributing to building Vietnam into a more dignified and beautiful country; and building Nghe An into a well-off province in the country.

At the ceremony to present the Woodblock version of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, comrade Vu Thi Minh Huong clarified the value of the woodblock about Nguyen Sinh Sac in the book series Quoc Trieu Huong Khoa Luc. This is a valuable document recording authentic information about the life and career of Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac, including information about "hometown: Chung Cu, Nam Dan; passed the Bachelor's exam at the age of 21; passed the Vice-Chancellor exam and became a mandarin, holding the position of District Chief, Binh Khe district. The woodblock about Vice-Chancellor Nguyen Sinh Sac is part of the Nguyen Dynasty woodblock system that was recognized by UNESCO as a World Documentary Heritage in 2009.
