Ceremony to pay tribute to martyrs who died at Gac Ma Island - Truong Sa

(Baonghean.vn) -As part of a series of activities to celebrate the 65th anniversary of War Invalids and Martyrs Day, July 27, this morning, May 28, the Central Committee of the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, the Vietnam Youth Union, Thanh Nien Newspaper, and sponsors coordinated with Nghe An Provincial Youth Union to organize a ceremony to pay tribute and present gifts to relatives of martyrs who sacrificed their lives on Gac Ma Island, Truong Sa.

Attending the event were comrades: Nguyen Dac Vinh - Alternate member of the Party Central Committee, First Secretary of the Central Youth Union; Nguyen Phuoc Loc - President of the Vietnam Youth Union; Nguyen Quang Thong - Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Nien Newspaper.

The Organizing Committee of the Program presented gifts to the relatives of martyrs who sacrificed their lives at Gac Ma Island - Truong Sa.

The program "Gratitude ceremony for martyrs' relatives who sacrificed at Gac Ma Island, Truong Sa" will present 64 gifts to 64 families of martyrs' relatives in provinces and cities across the country with a total value of up to 1.28 billion VND.

In Nghe An, the Program presented 8 gifts to 8 families of martyrs, each gift worth 20 million VND.
