Commendation ceremony "Good children - Excellent students - Beloved Uncle Ho's grandchildren"
(Baonghean.vn) - On the evening of September 19, 2014, the Youth Union of the Provincial Agencies organized the Commendation Ceremony "Good Children - Excellent Students - Beloved Grandchildren of Uncle Ho" at the Vietnam - Germany Children's Cultural House (Vinh City). Attending the commendation ceremony was comrade Nguyen Thi Thu Huong - Provincial Party Committee member, Secretary of the Provincial Agencies Party Committee.
Before the ceremony, 75 honored children reported their achievements to Uncle Ho at Ho Chi Minh Square and visited the Quang Trung King Temple relic site on Dung Quyet Mountain. They are typical examples in studying and training, representing more than 5,500 children of officials, workers and civil servants of the Provincial Party Committee.

The ceremony to honor “Good children - Excellent students - Beloved Uncle Ho's grandchildren” has become a traditional activity of the youth of the provincial agencies. Over the years, this activity has been part of a series of activities to care for, protect and educate children, not only creating motivation to practice and goals to strive for, but also leaving good impressions in the hearts of each child, preparing them for their journey to adulthood.

At the ceremony, Ho Ngan Hanh - a student of Phan Boi Chau High School for the Gifted, representing 75 excellent students honored at the ceremony, said: “With the pride of being a young generation born and raised in the revolutionary homeland, with a tradition of studiousness and good study, we are more aware of our responsibility for studying and training. We believe that there is no horizon that cannot be explored, no peak that cannot be conquered. We promise to try our best, with the highest determination to realize our dreams, as well as to respond to the trust and love of the teachers, uncles, aunts, and seniors in charge.”

On this occasion, the students were awarded Certificates of Merit by the Provincial Agencies' Youth Union; ASEM LINK International English Center awarded 90 scholarships; TH Dairy Food Joint Stock Company presented milk products; Quang Ngai Biscafun Confectionery Factory and Thien Long Group presented student notebooks.
