The 4th "Ethnic minority youth following Uncle Ho's teachings" commendation ceremony in Nghe An province in 2012

(Baonghean.vn) -On the evening of November 26, at Vinh Medical University, the Nghe An Provincial Youth Union and the Provincial Ethnic Committee jointly organized the 4th Provincial Ceremony to honor typical "ethnic minority youth following Uncle Ho's teachings" in 2012.

Attending the event were comrades: Nguyen Thi Thao - Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Commission, Nguyen Dinh Hung - Secretary of the Provincial Youth Union and 30 typical faces of progressive youth following Uncle Ho's teachings in 2012.

Implementing the coordination program No. 23/CTPH dated December 30, 2008 between the Youth Union of Nghe An province and the Provincial Ethnic Committee on education, solidarity and gathering of ethnic minority youth in the period 2008 - 2012, after 4 years of implementation, the following results have been achieved:
The province has 132 grassroots youth organizations and associations with ethnic youth, with 48,500 members, a gathering rate of 72%. There are more and more excellent grassroots youth union and association cadres who are ethnic minority youth with diverse and highly effective forms of youth gathering such as: Young Family Club, Youth Loan Club; Cultural Youth Union following Uncle Ho's teachings; Traditional handicraft production group.

Ethnic minority youth are the main force in undertaking social security projects: building roads, planting forests, volunteering to join the army to protect the Fatherland, and taking the lead in protecting local security... At the same time, many examples of good economic performance have appeared, creating jobs for grassroots union members in the area.

Outstanding faces at the award ceremony

Attending the ceremony were many outstanding figures, such as La Van Vinh - a medical officer of the Dan Lai ethnic group in Mon Son commune (Con Cuong); Ms. Vi Thi Vui - Secretary of the Youth Union of Yen Khe commune (Con Cuong) is an example of good family economics, last year she created jobs for dozens of young people in the area.

Also at the commendation ceremony, the Provincial Youth Union approved a program of coordination with the Ethnic Committee on strengthening education, solidarity and gathering of ethnic minority youth (2012-2016 period).
