Ceremony to honor outstanding students and award YLE Cambridge certificates

(Baonghean.vn) -Tonight, October 27, in Vinh city, there was a ceremony to honor excellent students, award YLE Cambridge certificates and introduce the American math thinking method - Mathnasium. The program was organized by Newstar English Center and Mathnasium Center. Mr. Doan Ha Thang - Director of Vietnam Institute of Physics Research; representatives of the Nghe An Department of Education and Training, the city Department of Education and Training, and many parents and students attended the program.

Mathnasium is a method of teaching math thinking developed by American professor Larry Martinek through 35 years of teaching and research. This method of teaching math helps children love the subject, develop thinking and intelligence. Mathnasium helps students change their attitude towards math, become more interested and enjoy learning because of its scientific and lively teaching method, helping them approach math naturally, without pressure.

Awarding YLE Cambridge certificates for the first batch to students with perfect scores

After the A+ math introduction program, leaders of the Department of Education and Training of Vinh city presented gifts to students who won high prizes in the National English Olympic competitions, national and provincial IOE competitions during the school years from 2008 to 2012.

On this occasion, Newstar English representative also awarded the first YLE Cambridge certificates to 9/43 students who achieved perfect scores.
