According to witnesses, at least two protesters fainted, apparently from tear gas fired by security forces after the crowd broke through a protective perimeter outside the government headquarters.
Hundreds of protesters, waving the flags of the main opposition party, the Future Movement, the Lebanese Christian Forces and black Islamic flags, marched in front of government headquarters after the funeral of Intelligence Director Wissam al-Hassan.
Protesters accused Syria of being behind the bombing that killed Mr. Hassan, and called for Prime Minister Mikati to resign./.
